Description

Up for auction is a Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab 200G Anadisc LP of BLOOD, SWEAT & TEARS self-titled classic album.  This is a long-time demo recording, beautifully engineered originally by Roy Halee and Fred Catero.  The copy listed here is relatively low numbered - #0286.  I purchased this copy new, just as it was going out of print.  It has only ever been played on my Rega, initially with two variants of Grado Reference cartridges, then a Shure V15 since.  It was cleaned in the past on my Nitty Gritty, and has remained clean.  The record is graded 8/10...this was never a copy I would have ever graded at least a 9, even when I first opened it.  The record is slightly dishwarped, and not 100% dead quiet.  There are a few very small marks that were on the record from when I bought it, along with a light rub from my using a then new Hunt carbon fiber brush with a bit more pressure than was needed, though its totally superficial.  The cover is graded 9-9.5/10 and is still mint.
Shipping is via your choice of USPS Media (First Class internationally) or Priority Mail.  I sell worldwide.  Message with any questions.
Please also see my listing for a brand new Mobile Fidelity gold CD of Frank Sinatra's SONGS FOR SWINGIN' LOVERS!, along with an original stereo LP of Vince Guaraldi's A CHARLIE BROWN CHRISTMAS.
This is a 7 day listing.  Thank you for your interest.  Good luck.

Covers Gem Mint 10 – Cover is virtually perfect, without defect.
Mint 9 – Cover has no visible wear.  Colors are full and bright.  There will be no serious defects.
Near Mint 8 – Cover seems new at first glance, but has some barely noticeable wear.  Colors are full, but may be subdued.  White areas may have some very slight aging.
Excellent 7 – Cover has some very minor wear, but no serious defects.  Some minor friction or light flaking may exist.  Corners are relatively sharp, with maybe some minor wear.  May have some age mellowing of the white and colored areas.
Very Good-Excellent 6 – Some moderate wear will be noticeable on artwork, but there will be no serious problems.  Corners will not have significant wear.

Records Gem Mint 10 – Vinyl has no imperfections.
Mint 9 – Vinyl has no meaningful imperfections.  Vinyl luster is full.
Near Mint 8 – Vinyl has a few minor imperfections and should play without noticeable surface noise.  Vinyl luster is nearly full.
Excellent 7 – Vinyl has a few noticeable imperfections.  Vinyl still displays some luster.  Record may play with some slight surface noise, but nothing very distracting.
Very Good 6 – Vinyl has more noticeable, but not major, imperfections.  May display some original luster.  Record may play with some more surface noise than a grade 7, but will not overwhelm the sound.
These are 10 point grading scales.  However, since I don't sell items with condition below what's noted here, I have not included description for grades 1-5.  I grade with half point gradations.
