BLUE BEAT SPECIAL - VARIOUS ARTISTS
COXSONE LABEL 1968 FIRST JAMAICAN PRESSING WITH FRONT LAMINATED SINGLE SLEEVE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION.
CSP 1
1A 1B
Released in 1968 on the textured COXSONE label, I am offering today this original first JAMAICAN pressing of this hard to find compilation album which features some great Reggae artists including SOUL VENDORS, THE TERMITES, JACKIE MITOO, ALTON ELLIS, KEITH & KEN, DUDLEY SIBLEY. The album is titled "BLUE BEAT SPECIAL".
The album has its earliest matrix numbers 1A 1B and features some great tracks and it is in excellent condition and comes complete with front laminated single sleeve which is in clean condition with no stickers or unwanted writing etc but there is a 1 inch tear on the back opening which has been neatly repaired on the inside.
I have just played this through for these listing purposes and I have to say that it plays nicely with excellent audio, absolutely no sticks or skips etc.
The VINYL, The Vinyl visually typical of Jamaican vinyl has pressing floors like pits etc and audibly plays nicely with rich audio but I noticed the odd pop. Needless to say absolutely no nasty sticks or skips etc.
The SLEEVE, The front laminated single sleeve is in very clean condition. No unwanted writing or stickers but there is a one inch tear on the back which has been repaired from the inside. overall a nice example.
The LABELS, The original textured Coxsone labels are very clean, showing minimal spindle traces. Needless to say they are free from unwanted writing or stickers etc.
The INNER, The original generic white inner is clean and free from unwanted writing or splits etc.
I try to be accurate in my grading as I know what its like to buy miss graded items but won't insult you by writing song lyrics etc. If you feel I have not described this correctly I am happy to refund you providing I receive the item back in the same condition as it leaves me, But I can only refund one lot of postage,
