Description
This is a fine original U.S. pressing copy of the third LP by Blue Cheer, released in 1969. Side 1 of the record features a quartet that includes two members of the original trio line-up. By this point, the group was moving towards the West Coast sound that would characterize their later records. On side 2, the group performs as a trio with former Other Half guitarist Randy Holden taking over lead guitar and vocal duties on three of his own compositions. The first two are extended tracks that look forward to the hard rock of the early 1970s. The jacket's one flaw of note is a small tear on the back cover (see photo). It also has some light creasing and staining, and some sticker residue on the front cover -- EX(+). The disc has some light scraping, scuffing, and loss of glossiness, and plays with light surface noise that's a bit heavier on side 2 (EX-). For those into the minutiae, the disc's runout matrix #s are PHS600305A-M1/PHS600305B-M2 (stamped).
I am in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their jackets. The jackets have been stored in plastic sleeves. I have play graded (spot checked) discs except where otherwise noted.
