Description
The Blue Effect - 4-song 7" EP (Czech, Panton `69)
Condition: both sides and paper gatefold sleeve all VG+(+) (some light lines and surface noise to disc, some creasing to sleeve)
Great Czech psych featuring heavy wah-wah action from guitarist Radim Hladik. These guys went on to become one of Eastern Europe's top prog acts, but this early EP is straight up psych, covering quite a bit of ground. Two songs are goofy yet heavy/trippy, a bit like Roger the Engineer-era Yardbirds, another song is groovy bongo-driven hippie psych a bit like Mu and the last track is Mod psych that evokes the Eyes/Open Mind et al.
