This is an EX / EX copy of this very hard to find UK LP on BLUE HORIZON RECORDS from 1970 in MONO - 7-63864 - by LONESOME SUNDOWN - "LONESOME LONELY BLUES". This is a rare and GREAT blues album in the "POST WAR MASTERS" series from UK BLUE HORIZON. It has an orange front cover with the usual picture in the middle, the shot of Lonesome being highlighted by a 'dot' process that makes it look different from the others in the series. It is a mix of slow and medium paced blues, but it his voice and the production that makes it special. Also the guitar playing is great. Genarally it has quite a heavy feel to it! The sleeve notes by MIKE LEADBITTER (Blues Unlimited mag.) say "..heavily amplified....doom-like quality"! Great stuff! The non-laminate cover has lost a little colour on the spine due to storage but looks excellent to the eye. The vinyl looks and plays great. RARE!
