Description
I purchased this album in 1989 and love it. Released by the highly acclaimed Glasgow, Scotland alternative rock band Blue Nile in 1989, Hats became their most successful album with three hits - Downtown Lights, Headlights on the Parade and Saturday Night (my favorite). Championed by Peter Gabriel they were quirky with a style of music easily identifiable as their own. They had a reputation for shunning the spotlight, concentrating on their music.
This recording is audiophile quality, very dynamic with deep rich bass. Released by Linn Records, under license of Virgin Records, manufactured and distributed by A&M Records. The vinyl shows sparse, inaudible hairlines, no scuffs to speak of (EX+). The jacket shows very light ring and shelf wear.
Cleaned at each playing and only played on a high end turntable/arm/cartridge combination, this record was always stored with inner sleeve opening facing up inside the jacket to protect the vinyl.
Shipping will be via media mail so please give 6-10 days delivery time. I will keep you informed as to when this album is delivered to the PO, but with media mail tracking may not show up for two days. It will be packaged in a high quality mailer with stiffeners. The record will be removed from the jacket to prevent edge wear during shipping.
