HORACE SILVER, ART BLAKEY, SABU MARTINEZ "SPOTLIGHT ON DRUMS" LP - On Blue Note Records, #1520. Original 1956 MONO 12" LP, double sided DEEP GROOVE with the classic Blue & White labels and the 767 LEXINGTON AVE NYC script address on both labels. FLAT EDGE with "EAR" and RVG engraved in the dead wax on both sides. Thick heavy vinyl, thick cardboard cover. The personnel: Horace Silver/piano; Gene Ramey, Curly Russell, Percy Heath/bass; Art Blakey/drums; Sabu/conga drum. The vinyl is in phenomenal NM condition, immaculate, with a high luster!! The thick cardboard cover is in VG+ shape and displays nicely. Small portion of top seam taped very discreetly. NO cut-out marks, and the front cover graphics are particularly striking. Address on back cover is Blue Note Records, 767 Lexington Ave., New York 21.
