BLUE NOTE 4001 jazz LP ROLLINS "Newk’s Time" RVG DG
Artist: SONNY ROLLINS
Title: “Newk’s Time”
Label: BLUE NOTE. Catalog number is BLP 4001. MONO deep groove pressing on thick vinyl.
Label address (both sides) is “BLUE NOTE RECORDS * 47 West 63rd * NYC” .
RVG is stamped in the runout with ear symbol on both sides. No “R” registry symbol.
Year: September 1957.
Personnel: Sonny Rollins – tenor sax; Wynton Kelly – piano; Doug Watkins – bass; Philly Joe Jones – drums.
Condition:
DISC: Vinyl is EXCELLENT with full original gloss. Has been played a small number of times and handled with care. There are a couple minor scuffs but no serious or audible marks or problems. Plays beautifully with crisp fidelity. Labels are clean. A very fine playing copy.
JACKET: Jacket is nice VG+ to VG++. Art work is nice and bright. There are minor wear spots at the corners. Seams and spine are excellent, with no splits or chipping. Reverse has begun to darken a bit with age, and there is writing (name of original owner) on reverse at top right corner.
Address on reverse at bottom is BLUE NOTE RECORDS, 43 West 61st St., New York 23.
