Description

Offered here is Blue Note art director/graphic designer's John Hermansader's original un-pasted cover proof for Blue Note 5058 (Horace Silver Quintet). Size is 10.5x10.5"
John Hermansader was an early art director/designer for Blue Note Records. Working with legendary Jazz photographer/Blue Note co-owner Francis Wolff, he designed some of Blue Note's early iconic cover art. These pieces come from Hermansader's personal Blue Note archive.    Condition:  Glossy with moderately heavy wear/crinkling from age and handling. Chipping at bottom. Please see high resolution image.
