This is a wonderful copy of this very scarce BLUE NOTE album, TENDER FEELIN'S by legendary Jazz Pianist and Arranger,DUKE PEARSON from the mid 1950s, featuring DUKE PEARSON,piano, GENE TAYLOR,bass, and LEX HUMPHRIES, drums. This is quintessential BLUE NOTE 50's JAZZ at its best.

This LP was released in the mid 50s, and this is the first pressing. It features the well known Blue and White Double Sided DEEP GROOVE label. It features the second address, 47 W. 63rd, NYC. The run out groove has the "ear" as well as Rudy Van Gelder's initials (RVG). It also features the BN-LP-4035 hand etched in the run out groove.The labels are clean, with very slight spindle marks. This LP is in a very conservatively rated VG+/VG++ (VERY GOOD PLUS) condition, with clean, bright playing surfaces, with only a few very slight, un-feelable marks which are not feel-able or audible. NO feel-able scratches at all, just a few very faint marks, so VG+ is a very conservative rating. I would call it VG++/MINT MINUS, but thats me. The sound is beautiful...that classic, gorgeous, rich Blue Note sound, but of course, there will be an occasional pop or click. This is a 60 year old record, and its not absolutely flawless. Its all about the music, and this LP plays great, and sounds amazingly clean! Ive been advised by a friend who is a very experienced seller to be very conservative on my ratings, as Im an avid collector, but a relatively new "seller".The LAMINATED cover is also in VG+ condition,with solid spine, upper and lower seams intact, and normal shelf wear for an album that is close to 60 years old. There are, as you can see in the picture, the previous owner's initials in black ink, top left. Doesnt cover up the album title. There is very,very slight seam wear on both top and bottom corners,  The classic cover image, by Francis Wolff, and the distinctive graphics, are sharp and clear.

I am a Jazz Pianist and Recording Artist, and have been collecting Rare Jazz LPs for many years. This is one from my personal collection. I assure you, all the LPs I will be offering here have been meticulously taken care of, and only played rarely, on a Sota Sapphire Turntable, with a Grado Reference Cartridge. They have been kept inside a temperature controlled room in my home, in plastic dust jackets. In other words, you can bid in confidence, knowing these LPs come from someone who has loved them and babied them. I reluctantly am beginning to sell some of my LPs, and hope they go to someone who will love them as I have.

All LPs will be carefully packed in proper LP boxes, well protected,and sent USPS Media Rate, unless specifically needed sooner. We can send priority mail if desired. Shipping costs are always based on your location. I do not add "handling"fees, costs will be exactly as I am charged by the shipper of choice.
