Description

FORMAT: 78 RPM Record

GENRE: PREWAR COUNTRY BLUES

ARTIST: Big Bill Broonzy / Big Bill & His Jug Busters

TITLES: HOW YOU WANT IT DONE?/M&O BLUES

LABEL & NUMBER: Perfect 0207

GRADE & DESCRIPTION (RECORD): V-

A: low surface noise; voice and guitar come loud & strong; just a light background sizzle throughout.

B: this side really plays above grade, no issues whatsoever.

(I grade conservatively using the VJM scale)

NOTES:

How You Want It Don? is a stone-cold guitar-stomping classic from 1932, and the M&O side (also from 1932) is recorded with a full jug band.
