Description
You are bidding on “DEVIL MAY CARE”, 12” MONO LP on Bethlehem Records (BCP 11).
Debut album of pianist/singer/composer Bob Dorough, the composer, performer and musical director of the Schoolhouse Rock series (Multiplication Rock, Grammar Rock, America Rock, Science Rock, Money Rock and Earth Rock). Dorough also put words to Charlie Parker's “Yardbird Suite.” Dorough also wrote the song "Comin' Home Baby", which gave Mel Tormé a Top 40 hit and two Grammy Award nominations.
CONDITION:
Jacket is VG+ with neatly taped seam splits, and only a hint of ring wear at back.
Record is NM-.
RECORD GRADES:
NEAR MINT (NM): A record that is almost mint; does not have any visual flaws and audio flaws would be an isolated very slight tick.
NEAR MINT- (NM-): A record with a very minimal extremely slight flaw, particularly an inaudible one such as a scuff or shallow mark that does not sound. An audible flaw would be a slight very occasional mild tick.
VERY GOOD PLUS PLUS (VG++): A record that may have some slight flaw or two very slight flaws: Very light background noise heard in low sound level parts of the music, occasional light ticks , a very few repeating light clicks, etc.
VERY GOOD PLUS (VG+): Same flaws as VG++ but more pronounced. Still does not interfere with the enjoyment of the music for many if not most people.
VERY GOOD (VG): Background noise that can be heard during all but the louder passages, scratches that cause repeated mild and moderate ticks. May start to interfere with the enjoyment of the music.
