This rare Box Set, The Bootleg Series Volumes 1–3 is a compilation box set from Bob Dylan, issued on Columbia Records, catalogue number, 468086 1. It is the first installment in the Dylan bootleg series, comprising material spanning the first three decades of his career, from 1961 to 1991.
Of the 58 total tracks, 47 are session outtakes from the recording sessions for Dylan studio albums. The remaining eleven tracks are with two exceptions live recordings and demo records, three of latter being later duplicated on volume 9 of the series.
Released in 1991 to satisfy enormous demand for Dylan's much-bootlegged unissued material, it contains rarities and unreleased works from the sessions for 1962's eponymous debut Bob Dylan to 1989's Oh Mercy.
Each LP is on the Red *Columbia* Record Labels.
This entire Box Set is in immaculate well cared for pristine as new condition.
All five LPs (ten sides) of the Beautiful Vinyl Discs are in outstanding Mint as new condition.
Each of the five Vinyl LPs come in their original Printed inner record sleeves with a different image of Bob Dylan on the front, and track titles on the reverse, and are all in Mint Minus condition, NO splits, NO tearing or any damage.
All five LPs are housed in their original Picture Box and also includes the rare 70 page slim booklet.
This rare booklet is very comprehensive and contains descriptions of each track featured in the Box Set. So you can read about the track while listening to it.
The box is in immaculate and undamaged Near Mint condition. The box is in pristine condition, NO splits to the corners of the box or lid, just two minor rub marks on the front. All edges and printed text are perfect.
