Bob Dylan self-titled debut LP, Columbia CS 8579 copyright 1962, with original 6-eye label design; reportedly only 500 stereo copies were ever pressed, and who knows how many still exist in nice condition. I am calling this disc MINT MINUS or NEAR MINT because I see no spindle marks or other signs of play, and there are no scratches in the wax – examined in both indoor & outdoor light. The Matrix stamps are stamped XSM 55621-1C and XSM 55621-1D; both sides also have a handwitten etched "#1" at about 180 degrees opposite. Found in its original (but opened) perforated clear plastic bag inner. Am including a new plastic inner as well. I have not tried to play this, but don't see anything that would cause a problem. The cover is very nice VG+. Many of you know that albums back then were not ordinarily shrink-wrapped at the factory, and that was done (if requested by the customer) at the distributor, or even retail store levels. It does show some very minor paper aging and/or shelf wear after 50+ years, and a minor top left corner bump, but no splits, writing, tears, warps, moisture/mildew damage, or other defects of note. Lines, reflections, lint & specks are from the scanner or the camera. This is the Best copy that has been listed on ebay in over a year
