1985 original Boxed Set Of FIVE VINYL LP’s spanning across Dylan’s illustrious career. Includes 21 RARE AND UNRELEASED RECORDING from 1961 to 1981
Original CBS RECORDS RELEASE ( CBS 66509 )
Solid Laminated cardboard hinged box in Excellent shape displaying only very minor signs of age. There are some foxing stain spots inside the box. The hype sticker on the front shows a little discolouration.
The records themselves are in superb EXCELLENT condition.
The first cream cover index booklet is in good shape. Just a little foxing on the rear page.
The much thicker 36 page biography booklet contains some rare colour , and black and white pictures. This book is in EXCELLENT CONDITION.
Overall a superb package which belongs in a cherished collection good luck with your bids ...........
Vinyl and sleeve gradings as follows :
MINT : unplayed copy in “as new” condition. I generally only list sealed records in this grade or records I know have been played once only and remain perfect.
EXCELLENT : the record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. the cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing. Most collectors will be happy with this grade
VERY GOOD : the record have obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable Still a respectable playing copy . No skips jumps or sticks .
GOOD : the record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated , perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges , spine splits , discolouration etc... Collection filler mainly .
Any lower grades will be rarely offered for sale.
I will occasionally use PLUS (+) or MINUS (-) gradings to more clearly detail a record or covers grading
