BOB DYLAN - BLONDE ON BLONDE LP - VINTAGE 1972 US RE-PRESSING w/ IMPROVED SOUND - NEAR MINT!!! Columbia C2S 841 1966
Dylan's May 1966 double-LP masterpiece caught the 25-year-old genius at the heights of his "thin wild mercury sound," just before his early, impossibly fast-paced career crashed to a temporary halt after his famous motorcycle accident that August.
This 1972 US re-pressing is a re-issue of the album's 1968 stereo re-mix, created to improve on the sound of the original 1966 stereo release. The label on Side 2 is the "typo" version, listing the second song as 'Stuck Inside Of Mobile With The' instead of as "Memphis Blues Again" - as the song appeared on the labels of most earlier releases, and as it remains listed inside the gatefold sleeve.
The album is being sold by original owner, who purchased it new in 1972. Played sparingly - primarily to make a cassette copy - it remains in excellent condition. Three vinyl sides are perfect but for some minor sleeve scuffs only visible on close inspection under very bright light. Side 1 in addition has 2 very light, shallow lines that are barely visible, only with bright light at the right angle. Front of jacket has just a slight hint of wear. Back has a bit of light wear in the lower half tracing part of the disc's outline. Inside the gatefold is perfect. Also includes original printed inner sleeves with articles on contemporary record industry news and releases.
