Thick card cover with Claudia Cardinale photo, rounded polythene inners, 'MEMPHIS BLUES AGAIN' misprinted on cover and labels.
GRADINGS
COVER IS VG
The cover has plenty of scuffing and general wear - please see photographs.
No writing but ring and edge wear.
The spine has creasing but is still (mostly) legible.
LABELS ARE EX-
The labels are really clean and bright with no writing and only light spindle wear, which is hard to see - but I have managed to photograph most of it.
INNERS ARE G
Still intact but grubby with some tears and plenty of creasing.
VINYL IS VG++
The vinyl is remarkably well preserved. It retains a nice glossy sheen and looks bright.
There ARE some sleeve/surface scratches on all four sides, and four or five slightly deeper ones, particularly Side 1, record 1.
The weight I would estimate to be around 140/150 grams but not as heavy as my other UK pressings.
All sides play well, with a fair amount of surface noise and some clicks here and there.
If I still had my professional cleaner, I know I could get it sounding quieter but, alas, I don't.
It sounds fantastic! Very loud, punchy and warm. There are clicks and crackles, especially during the run ins, so I will stick with this conservative grading.

I play test all my LPs - unless they are brand new and sealed.
I grade conservatively and honestly, as I am a long-time record collector and get tired of buying LPs that are not 'as described'.
There will be super light surface scratches, generally caused by paper sleeves. If they do not affect the sound, I don't class them as a fault.
Any scratches that aren't super-light surface ones will be mentioned, as will any clicks, pops or other intrusive noise.
Any writing or sticker marks will also be mentioned, along with serious creases, ring wear, spindle tracks or seam splits.
I don't clean my records prior to sending them out, as everyone has their own methods, and, for me at least, cleaning up a dusty old LP is part of the fun of collecting!
I pack the LPs well, out of the sleeve, in proper mailers.
