Label/Sleeve -> 360 SOUND Columbia Two-Eye with MONO written in the center. Gatefold Sleeve with the Picture of Claudia Cardinale and Jerry Schatzberg. First Cover with the 9 Pictures. The picture of
her was quickly withdrawn and replaced with Dylan Photos.
Grade (Cover/Vinyl 1/Vinyl 2) -> VG+ to VG++ / VG+ to VG++ / VG+ to VG++
Description -> Both the Vinyl’s play nicely with little or no surface background sound. Superficial hairlines and surface marks, three of them made light ticks but not at all distracting. The music is superb sounding – fidelity is amazing and a solid enjoyable copy. The Dylan Mono LPs are something special.
Cover shows slight rub wear – causing a light ring shape (inside and outside the gatefold) that is not uncommon due to the dark cover(See picture),Fully intact Seams and clean readable spine (See picture), NO Writing. Overall decent after 40 years.
The mono LPs of Blonde On Blonde have significantly different mixes and the length of the tracks frequently differ, by up to 50 seconds in some cases
This is one of the masterpieces of Dylan and a classic album in the history of Rock N' Roll. Blonde on Blonde is an album of enormous depth, providing endless lyrical and musical revelations on each play. Blonde on Blonde is comprised entirely of songs driven by inventive, surreal, and witty wordplay, not only on the rockers but also on winding, moving ballads like "Visions of Johanna," "Just Like a Woman," and "Sad Eyed Lady of the Lowlands." Throughout the record, the music matches the inventiveness of the songs, filled with cutting guitar riffs, liquid organ riffs, crisp pianos, and even woozy brass bands ("Rainy Day Women #12 & 35"). It's the culmination of Dylan's electric rock & roll period
My grades are VG/VG+/VG++ or EX-/EX/EX+ or NM-/M-/Mint (SEALED)
