Description

Very rare1966 SECOND PRESSING mono Bob Dylan Blonde on Blonde Columbia 2 Lp C2L- 41, with white “360 Sound MONO” labels, SEVEN photos inside cover. Most Dylan fans are aware that the original mono mix is the one to listen to, but serious collectors also know that the second pressing MONO, 7 photo (replacement) cover is MUCH rarer than the 9 photo mono original. With the same vinyl and labels as the original issue, the Goldmine Price Guide lists the value of this Lp at $150 (vg+) to $300 (nm). Cover is clean vg+ with moderate ring wear and minor handling abrasions to edges. No writing or stickers. Discs and labels are VERY clean, visually grade vg+ to near mint, lots of shine with the usual light scuffs and a few light scratches that do not sound. The only bad marking visually is on the last half of track 1, side 1, “Rainy Day Women”, but the song plays through beautifully with no noise. Both becords play VERY clean, I would rate the overall sound range at nm- to near mint. (“Sad Eyed Lady” looks and sounds like it has never been played). Reasonable starting price with no reserve.Winning (US) bidder pays actual cost for Priority Mail (depending on zone) with very careful packing. Insurance and overseas postage is extra.
