Bob Dylan came along in the mid sixties when I was in my early teens and living in the UK. It was a new experience for us, after loading up musically on the Beatles, Stones, the Who, along comes this strangely different dude singing poems to us, his was an essentially American point of view, which made his appeal even more strongly felt. Especially this album, with a country feel and Lay, Lady Lay as the first track. I was 17 when I first heard the sensuousness of that song, that feeling never goes away, even 48 years later! Powerful! I realized then that Dylan was on to something.  I've listened to him ever since.

I was good to my albums, they cost too much to replace, and was a little selfish about lending them out....control freak that I am. So I can tell you that this album is in great condition for its age. Cover, envelope and vinyl are all in great condition. OK, here are the pertinent details:

• The cover is in excellent condition,it's laminated and glossy, and has no visible wear anywhere, front back and spine.
• The inner sleeve has no problems, just one corner crease.
• Both sides of the vinyl are in great condition, a couple of long smudges and matrix scratches, but nothing to mar the sound.  The matrix is stamped with A2 and B1 respectively.
• I can't give you a play by play, my turntable is out of commission, but the record is in such good condition,  I am confident that the vinyl will play beautifully.
