TMQ-2 released this LP several times from the same, original master plates. On each successive release, there is a minor matrix alteration from that of the previous run. These include scratched out and lined out past matrices in several different combinations. There are at least five separate runs identifiable by which matrix is scratched out and how. The differences are purely academic.

1974 saw the beginning of the TMQ-2 releases, and this was among them. There were several package variations. Originally they used remaining TMQ presses 'till they ran out. The original full TMQ-2 release included an all new insert with a 1974 photo, and black vinyl with the new 'Pig Daddy' label that has come to be known as 'Smokin' Pig'. With each successive run, some minor alteration was made in the matrix.
As future runs were pressed and released, The insert was xeroxed from a previous insert and the insert quality deteriorated. The labels of subsequent releases were blank blue, and later blank white.

There has always been confusion as to the source tape for the fourteen tracks on this LP. According to the LP notes the tracks are a mixture of songs from the Minnesota tape, studio outtakes, and Witmark demos.
While 'Naomi wise' is certainly from the 12-22-61 Minneapolis tape, all of the other tracks are from the Freewheelin' recording sessions that ran through the second half of 1962.

Catalogue Number: TMQ 71009 written on insert, Matrix numbers are 71009-A, one lot has been so badly scratched out I could not tell you, and the other scratched out Matrix is or looks like 180/A, but it's so small I can't promise I have that correct.I won't even mention side 2 as it's apparently undocumented properly and relatively irrelevant.
Description Of Item For Sale: LP with blank white labels, the sleeve is shrink wrapped, not sealed, it opens at the opening edge, the insert has not been pasted to the sleeve, which is plain white.
Vinyl: Excellent, lovely and clean with no deep scratches, just a couple of surface marks.It does have a few sticky fingerprints though.
Sleeve: Sleeve is Excellent.

CONDITION:
All Items are Graded As In The Record Collector 2006 Price Guide,in Brief these grades are as follows:
Mint-Unplayed,sealed or as good as an unplayed undamaged item,.
Excellent-Some signs the record has been played,very little lessening in sound quality.The cover and packaging may have slight wear and/or creasing.
Very Good-Been Played many times,no major deterioration in sound,despite noticeable surface marks,occational light scratch.Normal wear & tear on the cover or extra items,without major defect is acceptable.
Good-Played so much,used so much,sounds bad,many problems such as splits,stains etc.
Fair-Just Playable-not nice.
TRACKS ARE: Probably available on Google.Also if I have made scans of labels or sleeve,click to supersize,and read them that way.
