Description

This is one of the nicest Bob Dylan Collectables I have seen in a long while. It is a limited edition pressing of Bob Dylan's first gig in New York City April 11, 1961. It was recorded at Gerde's Folk City (club). The record is numbered and is 111 out of 120. The front cover sheet is a beautiful picture of down town New York and is printed on a textured paper like a greeting card. There is a medium blue sleeve with a picture of the club on the front and a close up of Bob performing on the back. there is a thick cardboard sleeve that is all white. The back is plain but the front is stamped with GWW "TALKIN" NEW YORK". The number of the copy is on the bottom right side. The record is red wax with a plain dark brown label. The record plays at 33 1/3 RPM. The songs are Honey, Just Allow Me One more Chance, Debannan Blues, Blowin' In The Wind, Talkin" New York, and Corrina Corinna. Everything is live of course with Bob talking quite a bit. I played the record and the sound is great for what it is. It is not a studio recording, but was recorded live in a small Folk Club, but the sound is full and clear for the environment it was recorded in. This whole set is in like new condition. There was only 120 produced, so if you want this, don't miss your chance !
