"The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan is the second studio album by Bob Dylan, released on May 27, 1963. Whereas his self-titled debut album Bob Dylan had contained only two original songs, Freewheelin' represented the beginning of Dylan's writing contemporary words to traditional melodies. Eleven of the thirteen songs on the album are Dylan's original compositions. The album opens with "Blowin' in the Wind", which became an anthem of the 1960s, and an international hit for folk trio Peter, Paul & Mary, soon after the release of Freewheelin'. The album featured several other songs which came to be regarded as among Dylan's best compositions and classics of the 1960s folk scene: "Girl from the North Country", "Masters of War", "A Hard Rain's a-Gonna Fall" and "Don't Think twice, It's All Right."

Both record and sleeve are in fantastic condition, especially considering their 55 year age (see photos). Original inner-sleeve is also in great, undamaged, condition. If you are looking for a high-grade, original copy for your Dylan collection, then look no further - you will not find better at this price!

Condition: Media:  EX+ Cover:   EX+
Vinyl: Visual condition: The record is in fantastic condition and shows little evidence of having been played much at all. Clean and shiny, with no scuffs or scratches and only a couple of faint surface marks, as would be expected from occasional removal from inner-sleeve. Labels show only light wear around the hole and just a few, faint, spindle trails. Audible condition: Sound is bright and clear with no jumps, pops or clicks; no distortion and only slight background noise on a few tracks.
Sleeve: Condition: Sleeve is in excellent condition - stiff and glossy, with no tears, bends or creases. Very little discolouration, considering it's 55 year age and barely any laminate-lift. Square corners, with almost no impact-creasing and a rigid, undamaged spine, with all text clearly visible. Edges are perfect, with no splits or other signs of wear. Just one, small, faint mark to lower-back of sleeve (see photos).
