Description
This is an original stereo U.S. pressing copy of the third LP by Bob Dylan, released in early 1964. The record contains Dylan's most overtly political set of songs, notably the title track, as well as "With God on Our Side" (memorably covered by Manfred Mann), "Only a Pawn in Their Game," and "The Lonesome Death of Hattie Carroll." The textured jacket has seam wear, light staining on the front and back covers, a small tear in the back cover slick, and light spine wear -- EX(+). The disc has a couple of longish scratches/scrapes in side 2, track 1, that cause persistent though not loud popping through most of the track. Otherwise, it has some hairline scraping and loss of glossiness, and plays with some crackling/light popping late in side 1, and light surface noise elsewhere. Overall VG(+). The record does not have the insert.
I am in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their jackets. The jackets have been stored in plastic sleeves. I have play graded (spot checked) discs except where otherwise noted.
