Gorgeous copy of this Dylan boot.  Still in the shrink wrap, & discs / cover that are REALLY nice. I bought this copy at Jay Lee's in Dallas (Oak Cliff), Texas in early 1971.  It has the cover art printed on the covers instead of printed on an insert which was then placed under the shrink wrap. 

This is the original copy with 1st pressing art on cover.  You can tell by (1) the portrait of Dylan is leaning left, towards the spine of the LP (later additions sometimes tilted the image to the right with the drawing which makes Dylan look like has a bizarre "part" in his hair.  Kinda makes him look like Napoleon Dynamite.  Just sayin'.

Also, the lettering notates "2 Discs".  Later pressings split the LP into two LP releases and the

Original lettering is replaced with "1" and "2" in the corner (as in volume 1 and volume 2).  Additionally, these are original Zerocks printed labels (not plain white labels) with Sides one and two featuring silver labels with black lettering, and Sides 3 and 4 featuring grey labels with black lettering.

All of the pressings of the “Looking Back” LP, credit the electric sides with backing by The Hawks

(later The Band) and being recorded at the Royal Albert Hall in London  (May 27, 1966).  Actually,

this show recorded and placed here was in Manchester, England (May 17, 1966) It is the infamous

“Judas show" which was possibly the most incendiary live performance he has ever played.

The other two sides (acoustic) on this unofficial release are credited to the Berkeley Community

Center in Berkeley, California (December 4, 1965).  In reality, side three is from the Town

Hall (NYC, NY) and recorded on April 12, 1963. Side four is from the Adelphi Cinema in Dublin,

Ireland and recorded May 5, 1966.  

But don’t let these LP credited date mix-ups fool you.  This is a great LP and the first that delved

deeper into Dylan’s razor sharp world tour 1966 dates plus had comparisons to his earlier acoustic

presence and added a side of his opening acoustic set from the ’66 tour (Dublin) .  Check out the

Fab One (as opposed to the “Fab Four” in press lingo of the time).  This LP is a joy for Dylan

underground LP buffs and is a general treasure.

I've posted this copy for $40 and I believe (no crap, here) that it is worth it.  It has a lot

going for it.  I am allowing offers of course, though I will wait until close to the time that the offers

expire to make that decision.  That's how much I think of this item.  Just lettin' ya know up
