Description
Dylan's classic Blonde On Blonde. This is the original 1966 mono pressing, PROMO COPY, Catalog # C2L-41, on the Red/Black/White Coumbia "360 Sound" label with the word MONO in white lettering at the bottom of the label. Both discs read Side 1/Side 2 respectively, and each disc has a small promo sticker on the label that reads "Demonstration Not For Sale." On the label for Side 2/Disc One, "Stuck Inside Of Mobile With The Memphis Blues Again" is listed as simply "Memphis Blues Again." All song titles are in bold upper case lettering except for "Leopard Skin Pill Box Hat" which is in lower case. The inside cover photos are the orighinals as well including shots changed for later pressings, such as the portrait of actress Claudia Cardinale and a smaller photo of a woman leaning in to speak in Bob's ear.
As far as condition is concerned, the vinyl is in excellent shape, with only very slight scuffs but no scratches or blemishes that would prevent the album from being played. The cover is in generally good condition with very slight ringwear and one or two creases that are unnoticeable without close examination. Also a slight tear on the binder though the album title is unaffected. If you have any further questions please feel free to contact me.
This original mono mix is the only one Bob ever had anything directly to do with, making this the way Bob intended for one of his greatest recordings to be heard.
