Description
From 1962, out of New York, comes Bob Dylan with his debut album on Columbia CS8579 STEREO 6 eye label. Rare original 6 eye STEREO press of this great thirteen track album! This is the ONLY STEREO 6 eye copy I have ever had over the 34 plus years I've been doing this. Only approximately 500 copies were pressed on the 6 eye label! Includes two songs by Dylan: Talkin' New York and Song To Woody. My favorites among the other ones are : House Of The Rising Sun, You're No Good, and In My Time Of Dyin'. Original "fat" number 4 in lower right of rear cover (only on the 6 eyes-all other issues of this title had "skinny" numbers)!
Columbia inner sleeve included, which advertises other albums on Columbia and tips on how to take care of your records and your needle!
ULTRA-RARE STEREO!! This may be your last chance to get an original STEREO of this title!! Matrix numbers-Side 1: 1E Side 2: 1F
See my other auctions for an rare MONO 6 eye of this same title!!
This item is an ORIGINAL!!
All reflections/shadows in photos are just from my camera!A truly rare item
ALL RECORDS GRADED VISUALLY WITH 150 WATT BULB AND THIRTY FOUR YEARS OF EXPERIENCE!!
MY GRADING IS FOLLOWS: MINT MINUS=AS CLOSE TO NEW AS CAN POSSIBLY BE, AFTER BEING TOUCHED BY HUMAN HANDS.
VG++= LOTS OF PLAY IS LEFT, NO MARKS, SCUFFS OR SCRATCHES. LOOKS TO HAVE BEEN PLAYED VERY LITTLE.
VG+ = SHOWS SOME SIGNS OF BEING PLAYED, BUT STILL IS A QUALITY PLAY. MAY HAVE SOME LIGHT MARKS.
I WILL NOTE ALL FLAWS BEFORE I GIVE THE GRADING. IF THERE ARE NO FLAWS LISTED, THAT MEANS THE RECORD IS EITHER MINT MINUS OR STILL SEALED! OLDER RECORDS DO NOT SOUND LIKE NEW RECORDS, AS RECORDS ARE MADE OUT OF MANY DIFFERENT TYPES OF VINYL AND VINYL SUBSTITUTES AND MOST OF THEM WERE NOT PRESSED ON 100% VIRGIN VINYL!. IF YOU WANT A RECORD THAT SOUNDS LIKE A 180 GRAM RECORD, THEN BUY A 180 GRAM RECORD. THE OLDER RECORDS ARE A LOWER DENSITY AND ARE 90 TO 110 GRAMS, THEREFORE THEY CANNOT SOUND THE SAME AS NEW ONES!
FLAWS: Lower left corner tweaked, small stain center of bottom cover;no attempt has been made to clean this.Tiny scrapes along bottom seam, light high spot rubs.
GRADE: Cover is VG++, and record is VG++!
I HAVE RECENTLY HAD A BAD RASH OF NON-PAYING BIDDERS. IF I HAVE TO FILE A NON-PAYING BIDDER ALERT AND RECEIVE NO COMMUNICATION AND NO PAYMENT WITHIN THE TIME FRAME REQUIRED BY THE ALERT,BE ADVISED THAT I WILL BE BANNING THE BIDDER IN QUESTION FROM ALL FUTURE AUCTIONS OF MINE. I REALLY DON'T WISH TO HAVE TO DO THIS, BUT I DON'T SEE THAT I HAVE MUCH CHOICE.
SHIPPING FOR MULTIPLE WINS WILL BE COMBINED ON MY INVOICE. IF YOU WIN SEVERAL ITEMS,PLEASE DON'T PAY TILL YOU RECEIVE THE INVOICE, OR YOU MAY PAY TOO MUCH!!
