BOB JAMES
One
LP
NO high priced ‘Buy It Now’!...LOW start!.....NO Reserve!
ORIGINAL USA issue from 1974. NOT a reissue on Tappan Zee or Columbia.
Record is unmarked and my highest grade of near mint. No scuffs.
The Gatefold Sleeve is very good – not mint, very slight edge wear. NO rips, splits or writing.
Groundbreaking sounds - the track Nautilus, in particular, is one of the most sampled songs in history by jazz keyboardist Bob James. He enlisted a string of experienced Jazz players including Steve Gadd and Idris Muhammad on drums, Grover Washington on Sax and Gary King on bass. Led by the maestro himself on keyboards, ‘One’ is a lush, experimental Jazz Funk record, excitingly hovering at the forefront of where music can take your soul. Produced by Creed Taylor and recorded at the famous Van Gelder Studios, the record is a monument of progressive musical greatness.
★ Records are play-graded – not ‘visual only’.
★ Photos are of the actual record – beware of fake ‘stock’ photos or ‘no image available’ used by some sellers.

USA bidders please note: UK Post Office has increased mailing cost to USA due to:
An increase of more than 100% in the fees the US Postal Service (USPS) charges for the ‘last mile’ delivery of international mail.
Securing air freight at inflated market costs due to a 95% reduction in air passenger flights globally. eBay now charge sellers a 10% fee on postage cost. I do not make a profit on postage but eBay does. To help buyers all auctions have a low start price.
NEW !! All records are professionally cleaned on an Okki Nokki Record Cleaning Machine, ensuring you receive it in its best condition.
This is a Vinyl record. Note that most vinyl may have a little faint 'crackle'. I describe them as best I can but be aware all records may have a very occasional background.
