Description
Super rare promotional burlap box originally issued by Island in 1976 to launch Marley's new album "Rasaman Vibration". There simply were not many of these issued and they rarely come up for auction.
The burlap box itself is in Good condition. Please note the cover is taped a full 3/4 of the way down the left side, apparently due to a seam split. This is the way I bought it, it is certainly visible, but does not detract significantly from the piece IMO. I have included a photo to show this so that there are no surprises.
The record is the original press with the Island black label and textured gatefold cover (ILPS 9383) and is in VG+ condition.
The scrapbook is a piece that originally came with this issue, is 20 pages including cover, and has numerous photos and newspaper/press clippings from the time that are readable. This is also in VG+ condition.
