Description
Extremely rare, complete 1976 Island promo box for Rastaman Vibration (ILPS 9383), with a bonus, full color Marley photo from that same year. It includes the burlap-lined outer box, the gatefold jacket, the booklet (The Marley Scrapbook '76), the black inner sleeve and both original promo inserts--a six-panel press reprint from People Magazine and a glossy 8" x 10" publicity photo. The bonus photo is a color 8" x 10" print, with handwritten text on the back ("photo by Victor Robinson '76"). The LP is VG+ with one very light visible scratch that does not affect play. The burlap outer box is also VG+ with light shelf wear. Note that the blank inside of the burlap box has some discoloration (a chemical reaction from the burlap flaps coming into contact with the paper). The standard gatefold cover is excellent, very close to M- with a couple of tiny shelf dings evident on close inspection. The three-panel People Magazine reprint insert has an extra crease.
