Ultra Rare Near Mint 1979 Tuff Gong Red Vinyl Pressing
Up for auction here is a beautifully kept copy of this amazing LP from my collection. As you probably already know, the Jamaican pressing of this Bob Marley album is terribly difficult to find. This copy was actually purchased in Jamaica in 1979. The outer sleeve is in VG+ condition. There are a few small creases, a bit of spine wear, and a small mark where the price sticker was removed. Having said that, the outer sleeve still looks amazing. The colors on the original lithograph are bright and vivid. The stunning red vinyl is also in pristine NM condition with a high sheen gloss that is as bright as the first day it was opened. The record has never been listened to. There are no spindle marks. The labels are also in NM condition with very little wear. This was the last record to have the 56 Hope Rd. address on the label before Tuff Gong moved.
The record has been stored in a Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs rice paper inner sleeve and a Japanese sealable outer sleeve. If you're a collector, you will appreciate the condition of this vinyl. Honestly, I believe you'll be hard pressed to find a nicer copy anywhere.
