MY CURRENT REGGAE RECORD AUCTIONS WILL END DURING THE NEXT FEW DAYS WITH SOME JAMAICA AND UK PRESS LPs - THANKS TO ALL WHO BID! This is an original 1970s-era Jamaica press Studio One / Coxsone label LP IN ORIGINAL SILKSCREEN COVER titled 'The Best Of Bob Marley & The Wailers'. Record is pressed on thick, heavy, and rigid vinyl typical of early Jamaican pressings. The album cover states that this is a Studio One label LP, but the record labels show the Coxsone Records label - See the accompanying images for more information, please e-mail me if you need matrix numbers. Tracks: I Am Going Home, Bend Down Low, Mr. Talkative, Ruddie, Cry To Me, Wings Of A Dove, Small Axe, Love Won't Be Mine, Dancing Shoes, Sunday Morning, He Who Feels It Knows It, Straight And Narrow Way. Condition of record is a mid VG+ with some visible surface marks, none of which can be felt and none of which affect play. There are a few very slight and insignificant pits and bumps in the vinyl play surface which also have absolutely no effect on play, this is typical of Jamaica press records. Record plays though nicely with a little surface noise. Labels have a little bit of contact wear as shown in the accompanying image, labels have no other real problems. Condition of cover is also VG+ with the original shrinkwrap torn but still surrounding the cover, and with some contact wear and slight age discoloration on the areas of the cover not covered by the shrinkwrap and some wear along the edges and on the corners as can be seen in the accompanying image. . A choice addition to any Bob Marley or Jamaica press reggae record collection!
