ULTRA RARE!! Original "Real People" Private press Dream PSYCH lp ---- BOBB TRIMBLE with the VIOLENT REACTIONS -- 'Iron Curtain Innocence" on VENGEANCE Records 1980 BT 8458. A True "Holy Grail" piece of Psychedelic weirdness! Cover has a repairable split seam along top 9 1/2 inches and about 3 1/2 in middle of bottom seam - the rest of cover is a solid VG+ with minor rw, so I will grade as VG- . Vinyl has many light marks (nothing deep) plays well with lite surface noise - a clean and tidy VG (plays VG+). Although this is not a perfect copy I expect serious bidders only! If you are looking at this you know just how rare and legendary this lp is. Never see on ebay! Usually only trades through top dealers.

A space of its own, a musical experience on the other side of what people usually define as proper behavior. Psychedelic folk, real-people music, religious visions. It´s hard to label Bobb´s music. It's so dark and it's so lonely. The songs are desperate and have a strange dreamy atmosphere. Bobb is floating like an untouchable ghostlike entity through the darkness. And the voice... scary!"

From The ACID ARCHIVES website: Trimble, Bobb Mass "Iron curtain innocence" 1980 (no label) Locked in a timeless world of bittersweet folkpsychedelia, Bobb recorded this first ultraobscure LP at a time when absolutely no one made psych LPs. Hits roughly the same spot as his more well-known 2nd LP with three awesome tracks at the outset and other winners scattered about; a couple weaker moments but all over a brilliant LP - blows most 60s psych LPs away. A superrare 45 was pulled from this LP. Most of it has been reissued on the 1995 CD, unfortunately two very good tracks on side 2 were omitted.
