This record is in near mint condition. It does have spindle marks visible on the labels but there are no pen marks, scuffs or any other damage such as stains or fading. There is hardly any wear to the centres and overall the labels are clean, bright and in really nice condition but with some spindle marks as mentioned.
As for the vinyl itself both sides are really clean, have a lovely lustre and show little in normal light. There is the odd thin light wispy line visible under bright light but nothing much and of course nothing remotely deep or serious. So overall the record is in really nice condition, has a lovely lustre and despite being used has obviously been well cared for. For a 50+ year old lp it is very nice condition and shows just light signs of age to its playing surfaces.
I play tested the record and it played nicely throughout. It lays flat on the deck and there is little to no movement in the record arm upon playing. The sound produced is excellent with no distortion caused by excessive use and of course no skips, sticks or annoying clicks. The general clarity is also excellent with no serious surface noise. I noted a hint in the run ins and a little in the opening stages of track 4 on side 2 but nothing major or disruptive. Overall it was a pleasure to play test and produced audio of good quality and nice clarity for the vast majority.
The front laminated sleeve is in excellent+ condition. It has only light wear and minor signs of age to the edges and corners with no splits and the text on the spine all clearly legible. There are no tears, scuffs or pen marks on the sleeve and only a few minor creases to the laminate on the front. The rear is also free of major issues but does have some light age related grubbiness/discolouring to it. Overall a strong and tidy sleeve with no serious issues at all and just light signs of age/storage. I have tried to describe the sleeve as best I can but please study the pictures provided to gain as much information as possible.It includes its original EMI inner which is in very good+ condition. This has no splits, tears or pen marks but has some age related creasing and discolouring. The record will be sent in a brand new plain white replacement inner to ensure it arrives clean and ready to play.
