Description

TITLE/ARTIST: This really rare LP by one of the 50's-'60's Kings of Blues, Bobby "Blue" Bland, is on the early, orange, Duke Label and is entitled "Two Steps From The Blues" from 1962---the very 1st LP he ever recorded and easily his most collectible. The LP features 12 great blues songs including the title song plus, "I Pity The Fool", and "Cry Cry Cry" amongst others. The album is just one of many LPs I intend to list in the coming weeks and months ahead -- all of which are from my personal collection and in very nice condition. The condition of the jacket and the record are all very nice and close about perfect, but please view the pics below, read about the LP's condition, and judge everything for yourself. LABEL INFO: As mentioned above it is on the original orange colored, Duke Label, DLP-74, in MONO, and is in absolutely beautiful condition!! VINYL INFO: It is also just about perfect with no flaws to mention whatsoever--it looks practically "like new" to me. JACKET INFO: This jacket is likewise super nice and very close to perfect---practically like new except for a couple small scuff marks along the seam/corner areas, but nothing too serious, believe me (see the pics below). INTERESTING FACTS: You really don't see these early blues LPs out there much anymore, and espiecally not in this kind of great condition, so please have at it--as well as others I have posted this week -- or will be soon posting. I will continue to list many other LP's, EP's, and 45's by 1950-60's artists, even some rare C&W as I am slowly selling off my personal collection, and there are many more records of all varieties to get to yet. Many of these still to be listed records are quite rare and hard to find, and just about all of them are in near mint shape. So, please bookmark my site and check it out from time to time. GOOD LUCK BIDDING!! When attempting to view my pictures, please be a little patient as they do take a few seconds to fully focus---but they do come in. And, if anyone ever needs more info/pics than what is listed, please email me. I will respond! POSTAGE/HANDLING CHARGES: In the United States, the buyer agrees to pay $4.00 (Media) or $9.00 (Priority) for the first LP purchased, and then just $1.00 (Media) or $2.00 (Priority) per LP after that-----so, buy in quantity and save. Insurance (optional) is available at the buyer's request and varies with the amount of the purchase(s). These are U.S. rates only---all foreign winners pay $17.00 for the 1st LP purchased, but then just $5.00 apiece after that. So, here too, it is much cheaper on S/H charges to buy multiple pieces. I accept payments by way of PAYPAL----as Ebay doesn't allow any other type of payment---and I will send an invoice upon the auction's ending. Other forms of payment are available, but you need to email me for that information---sorry. And please continue to check out "rogersrecords" here on ebay for future collectible records of all types. There are many more to come!
