Here I have for sale the original soundtrack LP to the Sydney Pollack film 'Bobby Deerfield'  (1977), starring Al Pacino and Martha Keller. Music by Dave Grusin.

Condition (refer also to notes at bottom):
Vinyl – EX. Very clean on visual inspection. Sounds bright throughout with little interference. May be the odd click / pop.
Cover – EX. Still in original shrinkwrap though unsealed. Colours are unfaded. Cutout tab on bottom right very close aperture. This has caused damage to bottom right corner, which is torn. Minor corner wear and disc showthrough but shrink-wrap has kept colours protected and clean. Delete cutout tab on spine edge.
Sleeve – EX. Original. Minor folding; clean and intact. Delete cutout tab on spine edge.
Poster – EX. Some signs of handling but folded, clean and intact. Cutout tab has affected poster. Cuts to centrefold and edges.

Bobby Deerfield is a 1977 American romantic drama film directed by Sydney Pollack and starring Al Pacino and Marthe Keller.

Loosely based on the 1961 novel 'Heaven Has No Favorites' by Erich Maria Remarque, the film is about a famous American race car driver on the European circuit who falls in love with an enigmatic Swiss woman who is terminally ill.

For his performance in the film, Al Pacino was nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Motion Picture Actor.

The story:

Formula One auto racer Bobby Deerfield is a calculating, control-obsessed loner who has become used to winning the checkered flag on the track. But after he witnesses a fiery crash that kills a teammate and seriously wounds a competitor, Deerfield becomes unsettled by the spectre of death.

During a visit to the survivor, Deerfield's world is further set askew when he meets Lillian Morelli (Marthe Keller), a quirky, impulsive woman racing against time.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.

POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
