BOBBY SOXX Learn to hate in the 80's (Kaplow Records, VVV-04, 1981) 7"
Condition: Sleeve in excellent condition, vinyl in very good+ / excellent- condition
Killer reissue of the notorious LEARN TO HATE / SCAVENGER OF DEATH 7” from the late, and
legendary, BOBBY SOXX!! A beautiful repro job of this TEENAGE QUEERS ripper that came out in
green and orange covers. Dunno if they used the original masters for this reissue, but I suspect they may
have, as it sounds FUCKING GREAT!! Two tracks of pure, misanthropic, punk rock, nihilistic genius!!
This was a promo copy from a zine. It has a small pressing defect in the runout groove that causes a couple
very light pops at the very end of the record where Bobby is spitting out the last "Hate in the 8000000000000000ssssss".
It ticks a total of 5 times, 3 during the last of the song and 2 more as it runs out. It's pretty minor and the
record is just about perfect in every other way.
