BODYSNATCHERS 7" Brisbane KBD punk Young Identities

Savage Music SM-03/PRS-2671 <> Nov. 1979

Bodysnatchers – Frantic 7” (orig. Australia STEREO Savage Music SM-02/PRS-26721979, PICTURE SLEEVE)

Release date: November 1979.

On offer here is an ULTRA RARE original issue of the BODYSNATCHERS “Frantic“ single.  There were ONLY 300 COPIES pressed back in the day (confirmed by Rod McLeod), but most of these are long gone.  This 45 contains the darkest and murkiest Australian LOW-FI PUNK recordings ever made!

This particular disc was obtained from ROD McLEOD himself sometime during 1998.  I recall Rod McLeod and fellow record enthusiast Michael Cox calling around to my place.  I was living on the southside of Brisbane at the time.  Copious amounts of alcohol were consumed – a great time was had by all!  Some record trading took place, and this is how I came into possession of this item.

Members of the BODYSNATCHERS also appeared in the following BRISBANE PUNK BANDS: JUST URBAIN, YOUNG IDENTITIES, KICKS, SECTION URBANE and THE PINEAPPLES FROM THE DAWN OF TIME (see Digital Photo Image #6 for their various releases).
