Description
Up for auction is a very rare copy of the Bongwater double album "Double Bummer" originally released in the U.S. on Shimmy Disc Records (Shimmy 011) in 1988. Not a reissue or import, like most for sale on eBay. No UPC/bar code on cover. Includes two Lps in original factory audiophile protective inner sleeves, and original insert and special Shimmy Disc catalog leaflet (see photo).
Correct 1st pressing Matrix reads:
Shimmy Disc 001 "Align Audio Brooklyn"
Cover is in nice condition, with only a few signs of wear. Front is generally clean though there is some former price sticker residue in upper right corner (see photo), and some spotting at top edge near middle. Some faint finger prints that aren't easy to see in normal light. Back cover is clean with a couple light spots near top edge. Seams are strong, not rubbed, no seam splits. Corners are sharp, not bumped, with only a tiny amount of rub. Grade the cover as Excellent (EX).
Vinyl discs are in beautiful condition, very shiny and new looking. No obvious scratches, scuffs, or extraneous marks on the vinyl. Labels are clean. Discs look close to un-played condition. Very well-preserved. Grade the vinyl Near Mint (NM).
