BOOKER ERVIN QUINTET-COOKIN' 1960 SAVOY RECORDS LP MG-12154 IN A STRONG VG+ CONDITION. VERY NICE VINYL!! Booker Ervin was sensational at the time of his live performances in the late 50's in the NYC area. This album, his 2nd, is a testament to not just his incredible tenor sax playing but also to the other members of his quintet: Richard Williams on trumpet, Horace Parlan on piano, Danny Richmond on drums & George Tucker on bass. This is a one of a kind find, very difficult to obtain record, so I truly hope this goes to the true fan!!

Side 2: Down In The Dumps / Well, Well / Autumn Leaves

The record: side 1: just a couple of very light hairlines and they are small, plays magnificently //side 2: pretty much the same description, the vinyl on this one is really nice. I would not say NM or VG++ but saying a strong VG+ is more than fair. The cover has a 1 1/2" split in the lower & upper mouth side, very solid and clean otherwise. The original inner sleeve is intact. An awesome buy!!
