This is a US Original Press of ’Hip Hug-Her' by Booker T & The MG's. This press is complete with the STX 12549-A / STX 12550-B matrix, the blue original Stax label, the original inner sleeve and heavy card sleeve.
The record is in Very Good+ condition. The vinyl on each side is absolutely sensational, every track gleams. It has a couple of light marks and a few wispy hairlines otherwise it is superb. It has the original jet black gloss and no wear to the grooves at all.
The sound quality is Excellent. The vinyl lies completely flat on the turntable and from the moment it begins it is exceptionally rich and vibrant. Excellent clarity and separation throughout, there are moments of very light noise but these do not spoil the enjoyment of this LP at any point.
The matt sleeve is in Excellent condition. The colour is bold and bright, the sleeve has a light sheen and the edges are firm. There is a little corner and ring wear but it is only light. The whole sleeve is solid and the spine is firm with clear text.
