BOSSA 70 LP

1971 Philips 6350 003  Represented by El Virrey Made in Peru

 

Rare and Scarce LP, originally recorded between 1969 to 1971. It's the first album of Fusion recorded in Peru, a mix of jazz and Bossa Nova, with more latin rhythms. If you are looking for well respected music this is for you. Listen the sweet saxophone by Nilo Espinoza, Latin Jazz piano by Otto de Rojas and female vocals by Carmen Rosa Basurco, music with nicest percussions.

In 1970, they recorded this long-play for Phillips, represented by 'El Virrey' in Peru. The label pressed only 300 copies that were sold quickly. It contains the songs Berimbao, Me quedo con el Shing-a-ling, Get out of my way, etc... True Bossa-nova, Latin jazz and funk. It is worth to mention that Enrique "Pico" Ego Aguirre, leader of Los Shain' s and Pax, was the lead guitar player during this session. VINYL CONDITION: Play Tested & Visually Grading: Plays all nice without jumps or repeats from beginning to end, little surface noise and visually shows some signs of wear. but music still strong and loud, sound is enjoyable (Please listen real audio). COVER CONDITION: Some wear like tear, creases and stain as shown in the picture. fortunately this record was released in laminated cover, still in one piece.
