Description
In 1986, the awesome American rock group Boston released their long-awaited third LP, titled "Third Stage". It followed a lengthy court battle between the band (mostly leader Tom Scholz, actually), and their record label, CBS. After that was more or less settled, the band came out with record number three. It contains the hits "Amanda", and "We're Ready". Here it is on picture disc! The artwork followed the space/spaceship theme, with an amazing shot of the earth, as taken from space.
It looks very pristine, with only a few minor surface scratches. Nothing too bad, and no heavy gouges or scuffs. This would look great hanging on a wall! Boston's first album on picture disc is pretty common, and easy to find. The next one was "Don't Look Back", which is pretty hard to find, and goes for quite a bit. This one is pretty rare, as well, with the last Boston picture disc ("Walk On") going for the biggest bucks! Will be listing that one soon, as well. (Of course, the band released a fifth studio record in 2002, "Corporate America", and a greatest hits record with three new songs, either of which was NOT ever relased on picture disc.)
