BOW BOW WOW - DEBUT ALBUM - JAPAN ISSUE COMPLETE WITH TRI FOLD LYRIC INSERT AND OBI.
Fantastic Debut album from one of the most dynamic and exciting punk band's of all time.
Bow Wow Wow were created by manager Malcolm McLaren in 1980, McLaren stole members of Adam and the Ants to form the core band with then 13-year-old Annabella Lwin on lead vocals.
They released their debut E.P. Your Cassette Pet in 1980, and had their first UK top 10 hit with "Go Wild In The Country " in 1982.
The band's music was characterized by a danceable tribal sound that drew on a Burundi Beat provided by Dave Barbarossa on drums, as well as (encouraged by McLaren) the subversive, suggestive, sexy and sometimes exuberant lyrics sung and chanted by their teenage lead vocalist.
This Japanese issue is in excellent condition throughout both sleeve and record which looks minimally played it's complete with original obi and tri fold lyric insert.
This came from within a large private punk collection I have recently bought, more great items to follow soon.
An absolute must have Bow wow wow collectors item for any serious Punk rock collector.
