San Diego’s only psychedelic cops is how this brilliant California band presented theirselves in their promo posters. Psychedelic they certainly were, though they might better be described as a British influenced garage-psychedelic band perhaps.
They recorded a demo LP back in 1968, in plain white cover, which is a top rarity only living in a few of the warmest collectors’ houses. Unavailable for some time now on vinyl, here’s a welcome new reissue of this powerful organ-guitar garage rock beauty. Comes in a silk-screened fabric bag, insert and 180g vinyl. New linernotes courtesy of Clark Faville.
