Description
This LP is getting very difficult to find.
It's on the German Bellaphon label and is entitled 'Psychonaut' by the Swiss/Italian/German prog/psych band, Brainticket.
It's a stereo recording and the catalogue number is BLPS 19104. It was released originally in 1972 and was the band's second album after Cottonwood Hill. It is a very rare record.
OUTER SLEEVE - The sleeve is laminated on both sides and is in fine condition. The front shows some very minor wear and creasing. The rear sleeve again shows some very minor wear and creasing. The edges and spine are in fine condition with some minor delamination patches along both edges and along the spine. The wording along the spine is 80% readable only because there is a delamination patch right in the middle of the spine where the band's name and LP title are printed. There is also some minor wear and 'feathering' around the mouth of the sleeve. I've graded the sleeve VG++.
INNER BAG - Plain white paper type - the following numbers are printed in the bottom right hand corner 4912 000 1533.1 N 18/76. I presume it's the original Bellaphon German inner bag.
RECORD - The record is in superb condition. It appears to have been played only a few times. There are some very superficial marks on each side. It plays through well on both sides with almost no surface noise and one or two pops and clicks on both sides. There are no jumps on any of the tracks on either side.
LABELS - The labels are the original textured Bellaphon purple type with silver wording. There are some very minor spindle marks on both sides around the hole. The labels are in fine condition with no damage. There are no matrix numbers on the run-off grooves on either side . I've graded the record as Ex which I believe is very fair.
I try to grade everything very accurately and I believe that the winner of this auction will not be disappointed. I guarantee everything I sell. It will be difficult to find this record again.
