ECCO LA BOSSA NOVA - ITALIAN LIBRARY Lp by SUONANO I BRASILIAN BOYS. Original Italian pressing on WILD CAT label (W. 104), from 1969. Obscure and very stylish Italian Library. Completely different to the equally rare, French Polydor release called Bossa Nova - Garacha - Samba - Bolero - Baoi. We doubt the music of Ecco La Bossa Nova was actually written by someone called Teleco-Teco as this is actually the name of a drum rhythm (aka Telephone Taco) historically used in Brazilian music. Whatever, this Library is suberb. Seldom heard, so we have recorded several important themes for our soundlip. Features the oriental scales / exotic eastern jazz / bewitching scat voices and whistles of PER L'ETERNITA (comped on Suono Libero / Mo'Plen Brazilia for the La Douce Irma label). Certain other bossa jazz themes are maybe even better... SEI TU L'AMORE / UBATUBA / IO PENSO A TE / ROMANTICA CANZONE and RITORNERA' L'AMORE are also great for DJs. Shades of the Basso Valdambrini - Bossa Nova sound with early UFO - United Future Organization / Dimitri From Paris style drum loops and samples. Cool jazz horns and piano / flute / tropical percussion / berimbau / groovy Brazilian jazz guitar and some Mary Mayo sounding wordless harmony. The lounge theme NOTTI BRASILIANE contains counterpoint male vocals sung in Italian. Beautiful mood music created for Italian film / television and radio. Striking artwork sleeve design too. Rare Library Lp!!! Full track listing: RITORNERA' L'AMORE / PER L'ETERNITA / ROMANTICA CANZONE / DANZARE CON TE / NOTTI BRASILIANE / IO PENSO A TE / TI VOGLIO BENE / ORIZZONTE BLU / E BATTE FORTE IL CUORE / SEI TU l?AMORE / UBATUBA

Our record grading: SEALED / M- / VG++ / VG+ / VG

Vinyl is in shiny, VG+ condition with scuffs / hairlines and some mini scratches. Light surface noises / soft pops / ticks (as you can hear on our soundclip). The card sleeve is in strong VG+ condition with corner wear and natural age discoloration. Light ring wear / ring dirt marks from storage. Some wear marks to edges. Camera flash glare to sleeve and label photo. Rare Library Lp!!!
