BRIAN JONES-PRESENTS THE PIPES OF PAN AT JOUJOUKA 1979 ROLLING STONES RECORDS JAPANESE IMPORT REISSUE LP ESS-63009 IN A STRONG VG+ CONDITION. MOSTLY CLEAN VINYL!! The late lead guitarist from the early days of The Rolling Stones on a record no one saw coming back in the day. Yes, the Moroccan sound was alive and well as was a lot of world music but the US shores did not catapult it into popularity like overseas. This is an achievement, The Pipes Of Pan are amazing and if you love the genre or the man, you'll love hearing what it's all about.
The record is in an easy VG+ condition with just a very light hairline on each side neither of which hampers play at all, plays well throughout. The gatefold cover has a 1" split on the second sleeve bottom, mild wear along the rest of the edges, mild rubs on the corners and some yellowing / aging along the perimeter front and back. The original inner sleeve is intact. A terrific buy!!
