Description

This is a nice copy of a hard to find by The Beach Boys: "Getting' Hungry" b/w "Devoted to You" on Capitol Records (HF 301). Released in the Netherlands in 1967. 

The A side is taken from the "Smiley Smile" LP, and the B side is taken from the "Beach Boys Party!" LP. Technically not a Brian Wilson/Mike Love duet, as these are Beach Boys tracks. But this was the second issue on the Beach Boys's own Brother Label in the U.S. It was distributed by Capitol in the States, and issued on Capitol in foreign markets. This Netherlands release came with a stunningly beautiful art sleeve.

Sleeve is in EX+ condition. I've never seen a finer cover. Virtually no ring wear is visible. Only very minor wrinkling is beginning to show at the top. What's most surprising (to me, anyway) is that the sleeve is actually a single sheet, folded (see photo). These not seam splits. This is the way the sleeve was cut when it was printed. Or perhaps this is a unique sleeve? No writing, stickers, or tears. Truly a gem. 

Record is also EX+ condition. Center is intact, clean labels. Only a few light scuff on the super glossy vinyl.

A spectacular copy. No reserve, low opening bid.
