BRIDGET ST JOHN
- SONGS FOR THE GENTLE MAN -
1971
DANDELION
DAN 8007
Matrix no's : DAN8007 - A1 / B1
The vinyl retains an excellent deep lustrous sheen whilst under a bright light there are lots of visible marks, mainly paper scuffs and hairlines but also a few more noticeable marks or blemishes. On playing the Lp still plays well - pretty clear and bright and vibrant but there is some surface noise audible in places - but as this is actually a quiet Lp overall then that is perhaps to be expected. Graded VERY GOOD PLUS in respect of that.
The iconic attractive DANDELION record labels are graded EXCELLENT MINUS with some minor visible spindle wear.
The quality card GATEFOLD PICTURE sleeve printed by GARROD & LOFTHOUSE is overall VERY GOOD PLUS - still remains strong with little actual wear but the main issue is that probably at some point it has been damp as it seems to have some wavy undulation to it. Also a surface tear to front top right which has been coloured in and some rubs and creasings to front and back but still the spine remains strong and uncrushed and 90% legible - actually the description makes it sound worse than it is as overall its not too bad !
A very reasonable copy of this rare FOLK classic...
SHIPPING
All Lps are packed carefully and shipped using purpose made new corrugated card RECORD MAILERS ( not thin card, single sleeve 'envelopes' etc ) and we take care to make sure that the vinyl and inner sleeve are removed from the outer sleeve to prevent seam splits during transit.POSTAGE:
